The Equipment

We utilize the best equipment and personnel available to tune your high performance vehicle.

modern muscle uses the latest dyno from Dynojet, the 224xLC.  Features of this dynomometer include:

  • Capability to measure up to 2000rwhp and 200mph
  • Eddy current load absorber allows the tuner to simulate real world conditions for all of his tuning needs
  • Automatic conditions measurement for correction factors
  • 4 channel 0-5v logging capability for operating parameters like boost, fuel pressure, EGT, etc.
  • High speed road simulation fan

The Software

modern muscle can accommodate any of your tuning needs.  Anything from your carbureted classic to your high tech late model car.

The Personnel

Our EFI tuner, Justin Meyers, has tuned hundreds of high performance vehicles over the last five years.  His tuning expertise began with tuning the popular GM – LS platform.  Since then, he has expanded his talents to all domestic V8 platofrms and all styles of power making.  Being the shops head engine builder / designer really helps bring the mechanical and design expertise into the tuning capabilities of the shop.  Only the latest, most proven tuning techniques are emplyed at modern muscle.  We guarantee the best driveability, performance, reliability and repeatability with every one of our tunes.  We can tune any power adder, and have thousands of hours of experience with each one.

Our carburetor tuner, Pat Schwartz, has developed his analog tuning skills over the years of his dirt track racing experience.  He has the ability to tune all of the popular performance carburetors and most OEM carbs.  He has the exceptional ability to diagnose analog and digital ignition system issues and tune them to the peak of performance.

EFI Tunes:

Stock to bolt on tuning – $400

Internally modifed engine tuning (cam, heads…) – $500

Power adder tuning (nitrous, boost) – $600

*All tunes will have a $50 credit applied if the mechanical build is performed by modern muscle.
